Wont Stick to Fahrenheit

A good app except one crucial flaw: the app badge switches to showing the temp in Celsius when Ive set it to Fahrenheit. It eventually changes back, but goes to C again once I open the app and then close it (that is, just go back to the home screen). Very annoying! (Im running latest iOS on iPhone 4.)
